John's service: Saturday, July 15. 4PM Mt. Rose Meadow Hwy 431.

The Mt Rose Meadow is located between Tahoe and Reno on HWY 431. It is a popular LZ for HG's and Paragliders who climbed out from the Slide launch. (This is not the LZ in the Carson Valley).

From hwy 80 take hwy 267 to Kings Beach. Take Hwy 28 to Incline Village. Take Hwy 431 (Mt Rose Highway) towards Reno. You can't miss the meadow on your right. Its huge. If you get to the summit of Mt Rose Highway you went too far by about a mile. map

Bring a Blanket or a chair to sit on. We will have a microphone set up for people to talk and play music. Anyone is welcome to share. Wash off the grime or dress up, your choice. Following the service Lori and Jon's house will be open for friends to meet and talk story.
